Situated on the beach front, amongst coconut palm groves and luxuriant tropical vegetation, the Pestana Inhaca Lodge is famous for its wonderful gardens and its warm hospitality. The island is a secure and quiet location that is a port of call for yachts, sailing boats and cruise ships seeking out a tropical option in the turquoise and crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean. Inhaca Island has been protected since 1976 and still boasts huge areas of untouched vegetation and expanses of velvety water.

RESTUARANTS & BARS

BAÍA Restaurant:
This is the only restaurant at the Lodge. Located in the main building, it has a seating capacity for up to 120 persons. It is always open for dinner whenever the weather is unsuited to outdoor eating and it serves a buffet of Mozambican, Portuguese and International specialities.
Opening hours are from 19:00 to 22:00.

HORIZONTE Bar:
Open every day from 06:00 to 01:00, it offers coffee, tea, international drinks and tropical cocktails.

PEPELA Esplanade:
This relaxing esplanade is situated by the Pestana Inhaca Lodge Pool and has a capacity up to 70 persons. It is open every day from 07:00 to 22:00 for breakfast, À La Carte lunch and light snacks. It also offers coffee, tea, international drinks and tropical cocktails. The PEPELA doubles as a Poolside Bar.
In addition to the facilities already mentioned, dinner at the Lodge is usually taken in the open air. Under the beautiful star-studded night sky, our head chef conjures up dishes to delight every palate.
Please note that at the Pestana Inhaca Lodge half board is compulsory throughout the year.

Meetings & Conferences
For those wishing to combine business with pleasure, the Pestana Inhaca Lodge is the perfect place. As well as its room for conferences and other events, which has a maximum capacity of 80 delegates, there is also equipment available, such as screen, slide projector and back projector.
The Pestana Inhaca Lodge is also the perfect place to celebrate a special day: a wedding or birthday, for example.

Inhaca Island is situated 15 minutes by plane from Maputo and there are daily flights – Maputo/Inhaca/Maputo. The runway is located approximately 10 minutes away from the Lodge. The transfer from the airport to the Lodge is done by the Lodge itself and is free of charge for its guests. Boats are available daily as an alternative mode of transport; the crossing takes 1h00 to 1h30 minutes.
